Welcome to LINK Transition Center
LINK Transition Center serves as a dynamic hub for multiple programs dedicated to empowering students and fostering independence. As a collaborative initiative between local school districts and ESD 105, LINK Transition Center offers a diverse range of services designed to support students transitioning from high school to life beyond the classroom.
At the heart of LINK, is an integrated program that provides students with a comprehensive and inclusive transition experience. LINK Transition Center also provides Pre-Employment Transition Services (Pre-ETS), which delivers vital programming to students in local school districts. Pre-ETS provides weekly workshops focused on developing key skills for post-secondary education, vocational training, employment, and active community participation.
Located on the Yakima Valley College (YVC) campus, LINK Transition Center fosters a vibrant environment where students can connect with peers, explore the rich resources of YVC, and take an active role in shaping their futures. Whether through hands-on experiences, individualized supports, or engaging opportunities, LINK is committed to preparing students for meaningful and fulfilling lives.
We provide various programming, including:
- Full or Part Day Transition Program – A comprehensive experience to support students in their transition beyond high school.
- Pre-Employment Transition Services (Pre-ETS) – Workshops focusing on job readiness, vocational training, self-advocacy, and post-secondary preparation.
